About the role
Provide strategic and operational leadership for SydPath laboratory services, ensuring high-quality, efficient and future-focused day-to-day operations.
Set and uphold the standard for safety, sustainability and compliance, meeting all legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Lead, develop and empower laboratory leaders and teams, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, capability and continuous improvement.
Drive commercial and operational value through effective vendor partnerships, resource optimisation and cost-conscious management within budget.
Partner with executive and clinical stakeholders to deliver organisational KPIs, performance benchmarks and strategic priorities.
About you
Relevant scientific or management qualifications with proven experience leading high-performing lab teams.
Skilled at building trusted, lasting relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners.
Strong problem-solver with sound judgment, able to tackle complex issues and drive results.
Highly organised communicator, driving team efficiency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Self-motivated multitasker, meeting deadlines, managing priorities, and delivering administrative responsibilities seamlessly.
