The Opportunity
This is a senior capital sales role in a successful Australian business now going global.
We are recruiting two senior capital sales professionals to expand our key account coverage with engineering firms (EPC/EPCM) in Australia and internationally. You will own named accounts and operate with autonomy, backed by strong internal capability and respected products.
This is an own-and-expand role, with real projects, established engineering firm relationships, and immediate commercial accountability from day one.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on capital sales role responsible for owning and winning capital project packages across named engineering firm (EPC/EPCM) accounts.
The role is being added to expand senior selling capacity as Beaver’s capital projects volume increases. You will take ownership of live and future capital opportunities, ensuring existing pipeline is executed well while future work is positioned early and converted consistently. Each capital project typically includes 3–4 target packages, with each package worth between $250k–$3m.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
· Own Tier-1 engineering firm accounts, with clear accountability for capital project outcomes.
· Plan and maintain disciplined coverage across key offices, stakeholders, and projects.
· Build trusted, multi-level relationships across engineering, project, and commercial teams.
· Secure early visibility on capital projects and access to target packages.
· Lead bids end-to-end – strategy, pricing input, negotiation, and award.
· Apply sound judgement on bid/no-bid decisions, margin, and risk.
· Convert pipeline into awarded work and future capital opportunity.
· Drive design and specification influence by leveraging credibility, relationships, and internal technical expertise.
This role reports to the Capital Sales Manager, operating with high autonomy in a small team. You will work with our Product Specialists, Engineers, Proposals, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership to position Beaver as the technical leader and deliver capital project package wins.
Ideal Candidate
You are a senior capital sales professional who understands how capital projects are won.
You will likely bring:
· Strong experience selling engineered products into capital projects.
· Direct exposure to the mineral process market is preferred (but not mandatory).
· Proven success working with Tier-1 and Tier-2 engineering firms (EPC/EPCM) across multiple offices and projects.
· A disciplined, methodical approach to capital sales, with strong commercial judgement.
· The credibility to engage confidently with engineering, project, and commercial stakeholders.
· The maturity to lead opportunities end-to-end and coordinate internal resources without formal authority.
You do not need to be an engineer — but you must be comfortable operating in technical environments and earning credibility with engineers.
You will also value:
· Autonomy within your accounts and trust to make decisions.
· Working in a private business where performance matters more than politics.
· Strong support from capable technical and operational teams.
· Extended onboarding program across products, client applications, industry know-how, internal processes and capabilities, and our Beaver capital sales model.
· Building long-term account value, not chasing short-term transactions.
This role will suit someone who wants to work in an ambitious, founder-led private business executing a global expansion strategy – moving from a successful Australian manufacturer to a global leader in its specialised product segment.
What’s Special About This Role?
This role is different from other capital sales jobs in the market.
What makes this role special includes:
· Real account ownership – Tier-1 accounts, clear accountability, and the authority to run them properly.
· Serious capital work – $250k–$3m packages, 3–4 packages per project, and long-cycle opportunities where judgement and discipline matter.
· Strategic influence, not reactive selling – engage early, drive specifications, and be in the box seat before the tender is released.
· Strong internal backing – credible products, real engineering depth, and internal teams that know how to support capital projects properly.
· Own-and-expand mandate – step into live projects and established relationships from day one, with lots of scope to grow.
· A business going global – join at the point a proven Australian manufacturer is deliberately expanding internationally.
· No corporate BS – private, founder-led, performance-driven, and focused on outcomes, not internal politics or red tape.
As the business grows globally, high performers will have the opportunity to progress into either broader global key account ownership or capital sales leadership roles in emerging regions.
Location
This role can be based in Perth or Brisbane:
· Preferred = Perth (where sales team and HQ located).
· Alternate option = Brisbane (manufacturing location).
Travel is required to city-based engineering offices nationally and internationally, aligned to your account footprint and project pipeline.

This is a rare opportunity to do capital sales properly – with real ownership, strong internal support, respected products, and the chance to be part of a business scaling globally.
To apply, please submit your resume along with a short cover letter answering the following questions:
· Why this role?
· Why you?
