WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

Vendor Management is a global function with representation in Denmark, Poland and the Philippines. The position is located in Warsaw, Poland as a part of Group Procurement, where Vendor Management is organized. Vendor Management consists of two teams where the IT Vendor Managers are located in Warsaw, Poland and IT Performance Management is located in Manila, Philippines. Your manager is located at HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The IT Vendor Manager is accountable for a portfolio of international vendor contracts across Simcorp and is responsible for all lifecycle governance post contract signature. The IT Vendor Manager plays a supporting role in pre-contract negotiations and contract creation. Contracts under management will vary in scope and criticality. The role is reporting to the Head of Vendor Management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

Executing day-to-day Contract Governance

Scheduling and running vendor governance with business and IT Operations

  • Monitoring overall governance and participating in contractual meetings
  • Updating and maintaining all vendor and contract details in tooling
  • Ensuring and validating that the ongoing service is delivered as per contract
  • Serving as the point of escalation for issues relating to the contract
  • Managing the contract change process
  • Liaising with the process owners throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Supporting the Business and Contract Owner in all contractual matters and questions and help using the Contract to the benefit of SimCorp as much as possible
  • Support SimCorp customers Due Diligence activities and compliance processes via dialogue, reporting and audit
  • Maturing vendor processes and tooling

Support Pre-contract negotiations

Support procurement and business in defining and negotiating key contract deliverables.

  • Own the creation of specific Vendor Management focused contract schedules
  • Own the definition of appropriate due diligence controls
  • Execute vendor onboarding tasks to facilitate transition and on-going vendor governance

You have experience with outsourcing, regulatory compliance, and procurement contracts from FinTech. You are structured, service minded, detail and quality oriented.

  • A relevant Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing complex vendors and contracts.
  • Broad understanding of Information Technology.
  • Structured, capable of organizing tasks and with drive
  • Proficient in English with solid analytical skills
  • Accept responsibility and initiatives, challenge and propose
  • Ability to summarize and communicate complex and detailed matters
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement projects and deliver services
  • Ideal candidate would have comprehensive experience from the Banking industry or a highly regulated environment
