Senior IT Software Developer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and support new and existing software applications. Lead software architecture and design for both internal and external software development teams and solve complex business problems by designing and building software solutions to improve user experience in a collaborative, fast-paced, and agile environment.
- Back- end development using .NET Core and C# and Microsoft technology stack to design system enhancements and business process changes geared to drive best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy of results, and usefulness of data.
- Build a modern user-centric web application on Microservices architecture from vision to production-ready system using cloud (Azure) technologies and DevOps practices.
- Work with the latest architectural approaches such as microservices, containerization, Cloud technologies (including Azure and Angular), and continuous delivery and automation alongside open-source frameworks and tools.
- Evaluate business requirements, providing alternative solutions where applicable in conjunction with outside vendors in a shared development environment.
- Design and develop RESTful services and APIs and work with relational databases, SQL, and entity frameworks to proactively identify ways in which system and process changes can improve efficiency for key users, customer service, accuracy of results, and completeness of data.
- Work with Application Support and Quality Assurance teams to support application issues, changes, and modifications.
- Act as a change agent and apply Typescript and Angular, DDD, Microservices architectural patterns, and Azure using GIT based source control systems to maintain and improve existing codebase.
- Work with CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript, HTML, JavaScript libraries such as ngRx, httpClient, and CSS preprocessors, including Sass and LESS.
Salary: $178,500 - $182,500
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in application development. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in application development.
- Experience must include three years each of the following: development in Microsoft technology stack; back-end development using .NET Core and C#; designing and developing RESTful services and APIs; GIT based source control systems; relational databases and entity framework; CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript, and HTML; JavaScript libraries such as ngRx or httpClient; CSS preprocessors including Sass and LESS; Typescript and Angular; and maintaining and improving an existing codebase. Experience may be gained concurrently.
