What Can You Expect?

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Define and execute a holistic digital strategy to support company priorities: commercial, product supply, and other corporate priorities

• Develop and own a robust end-to-end digital roadmap in line with the Kazakhstan organization's business strategy, engaging business leaders to gain alignment and support

• Be accountable to deliver against committed milestones, organizing internal and external resources accordingly

• Collaborate with other business leaders to develop new business models, transform activity systems and work processes

• Work with global and regional (European) IT teams to leverage the benefits of globally scaled solutions and enterprise platforms

• Ensure stewardship and compliance related to information security, data privacy, and application governance

• Grow the Kazakhstan organization's “Digital IQ” through structured training sessions

• Apply a hands-on approach (via Python, KNIME, Power BI, etc.) to address business needs on the ground in a compliant way

• Budget management and stewardship of IT services and solutions

• Monthly salary starting from 2 125 000 KZT gross

Job Qualifications

• Any higher education degree

• Good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher level)

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience within IT with at least 2 years at a senior level leading IT organization

• Experience working across functions including, but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Product Supply, Finance, HR

• Experience working across platforms including, but not limited to E-Commerce, Data Analytics, Supply Chain

• Strategic thinking and business acumen

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead by influence and strong collaboration across a matrixed and dispersed organization

• Readiness to execute a particular project and/or fix the issue on your own if this is required by business context

• SQL knowledge and understanding of database architecture

• Familiarity with Power BI

• Knowledge of Python and libraries for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, etc.)

• Experience with cloud platforms (MS Azure preferably) and high-load systems

• Familiarity with Agile practices and Azure DevOps
