What will you work on?

We are seeking a full-time SAP IT Project Manager – Finance to lead critical financial systems and process transformation initiatives, leveraging SAP S/4HANA and related technologies. This role requires an experienced project manager with over 10 years of expertise in delivering complex, multi-phase IT projects in an ERP environment (SAP preferred), particularly within the Finance domain. The SAP IT Project Manager – Finance will ensure the successful execution of SAP-related financial initiatives while aligning technology strategies with business goals. This role will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of the Finance workstream, aligning it with overall project objectives and business requirements

How will you create impact?

  • Lead and manage SAP-related finance projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and process optimizations, across the global organization across multiple regions and different time zones.
  • Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and sponsors to define project objectives, KPIs, and success metrics which are aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and own key project deliverables, including, charters, project plans, risk assessments, closure reports and identification of lesson learned as input for future projects.
  • Drive initiatives related to, compliance, reporting, and automation using SAP S/4HANA capabilities and other peripheral business applications.
  • Ensure effective change management through training programs, testing strategies, and user adoption plans for finance teams.
  • Communicate project progress and critical updates to executives, leadership committees, and stakeholders through comprehensive status reports and reviews.
  • Ensure all assigned Finance-focused projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Provide strategic consultation on leveraging SAP technologies to enhance all financial business processes and to work closely with various cross functional teams to ensure alignment with the over all Project Charter deliverables
  • Responsible to ensure that all meeting and related artifacts (minutes, action-item, follow-up, blockers etc.)  are managed effectively and in a timely manner.


What are your skills and experience?

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • PMP Certification is a must
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Significant SAP experience (S4/Hana preferred)
  • University Computer Science or Business Commerce degree or equivalent experience
  • Good working knowledge of accounting and reporting is must.  SAP certification is a plus.
  • Experience in consumer products, fashion or manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Business Analyst experience is a plus
  • SAP Finance Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules relevant to finance (FI/CO), including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Project Systems etc
  • Familiarity with SAP project methodologies (e.g., Activate, ASAP).
  • Familiarity with reconciliation and transaction tools like Blackline.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
  • Finance Systems Integration: Experience integrating SAP systems with other enterprise financial tools, especially integration with Blackline and Ariba.
  • Financial Process Optimization: Proven track record in streamlining financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Project Management Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale finance-related IT projects from initiation to closure. 
  • Risk Management: Ability to develop and implement risk management and risk mitigation plan.
  • Regulatory Compliance:  Experience implementing regulatory compliance tools and working with Audit teams

Please note this assignment will conclude on August 21, 2026.

This position requires an onsite presence two to three days per week.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $120,000 to $130,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master ltd. is a multi-provincial employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other provinces.
