This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the evolution of our Core Banking Platform, supporting critical capabilities across Deposits, Mortgages, Payments, AML, and Fraud.

As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex banking processes into scalable, high‑quality solutions. Your work will directly contribute to platform stability, regulatory compliance, and improved customer experience. In this role, you will gain exposure to enterprise‑scale systems, influence meaningful change, and deepen your expertise across core banking platforms and integrations while working with diverse, cross‑functional teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Senior IT Business Analyst supporting the Core Banking Platform, with a strong understanding of processes related to Deposits, Mortgages, Payments, AML, and Fraud.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to interpret, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear Epics, Features, and User Stories aligned with Agile delivery practices.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and UX teams to create system maps illustrating workflows, data flows, and integrations across current and future state platforms.
  • Facilitate requirements, design, and review sessions to align stakeholders and manage changes using standard governance and control processes.
  • Define acceptance criteria and support product, performance, and user acceptance testing by translating use cases into test conditions and expected results.
  • Coordinate process changes, system enhancements, and product implementations, including supporting test planning and execution.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business needs and industry‑leading practices.
  • Analyze product performance, user feedback, operational data, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities and optimization strategies.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and A/B tests to inform solution design and enhance user experience.
  • Prepare reports, insights, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle to support successful delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years+ of experience working within core banking environments, supporting platforms related to Deposits, Mortgages, Payments, AML, or Fraud.
  • Strong experience in business or systems analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, or product specifications.
  • Experience working within Agile or iterative software development environments.
  • Familiarity with system design, analysis techniques, and user testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise‑level systems and applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across multiple core banking systems with significant integration exposure.
  • Experience contributing to UX research, usability testing, data analysis, or product performance evaluation.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,100.00 CAD - $136,100.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
