Senior IT Auditor

We’re looking for a Senior IT Auditor to join us in London or Leeds on a permanent basis.

We are always looking for talented people to join our business - come and be part of our Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) team to grow, develop and become an integral member of an already exciting, forward thinking and collaborative team.

Job purpose

To execute and formally report on scheduled internal audits in order to independently assess:

  • Reliability and integrity of financial and operational information
  • Adequacy of, and compliance with, policies, plans, standards, laws and regulations which could have a significant impact upon operations
  •  Efficiency in accomplishment of objectives and goals established for the company and projects
  • Internal control and process design

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver assigned audit work on time and according to the objectives defined for the department and the Standards of Professional Practice of Internal Auditing published by the Institute of Internal Auditors
  • Document work-papers and audit findings according to methodology and quality standards
  • Validate with management the results of work performed
  • Prepare documentation for risk assessments and audit fieldwork
  • Make decisions within guidelines and policies that impact priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines
  • Plan and coordinate assigned work

We tend to look for people with: 

  • You will have a solid academic background minimum Bachelor's degree preferably in technology, IT audit or other relevant subject area
  • Proven experience within financial, operational and/or IT audit
  • Preferred previous experience from a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Achieved or working towards certification by examination such as CISA, CISM, CISSP
  • Fluent spoken and written English + another European language would be advantageous
  • CobIT literate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to understand and summarize complex matters
  • Strong computer auditing knowledge, including knowledge of computer audit tools
  • Well-organized with a flexible approach to the delivery of multiple tasks
  • Advanced data analytics capability using Excel, ACL and/or other audit analytics tools
  • Equally effective working within a team or as an individual
