We are seeking an Investment Analyst to support the UK Investment Team in delivering high‑quality pricing, valuation, and data‑driven analysis across our portfolio at Cabot Credit Management.
This role will involve building and maintaining financial models, supporting portfolio valuation, analysing large datasets, and contributing to the preparation of materials for key investment decisions. It offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1–5 years’ experience to develop strong financial modelling expertise while gaining hands‑on exposure to investment analysis, workflow automation, and portfolio management within a collaborative investment environment.

Key responsibilities include:
Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, valuation, and portfolio analysis.
Apply core valuation techniques including discounted cash flow modelling, return metrics (IRR, ROIC, NPV), and scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Support loan and portfolio valuations using financial, credit risk, and data‑driven approaches.
Analyse large datasets to inform pricing, forecasting, and recovery assumptions, ensuring accuracy and consistency of inputs.
Prepare clear, well‑structured analysis and materials for investment discussions and committees.
Contribute to the development of automated modelling and pricing tools, using Python, SQL, VBA, and Azure where appropriate.
Work closely with senior analysts and investment managers to deliver high‑quality outputs on time, maintaining strong governance, documentation, and confidentiality standards.
We are looking for someone with:
Degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering.
1–5 years’ experience in a financial, analytical, or investment‑related role.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial modelling and valuation fundamentals.
Experience working with large datasets and high proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Exposure to Python, SQL, or VBA.
Able to communicate analytical insights clearly and work collaboratively across teams.
