[What the role is]
You will be part of the Enforcement and Investigation Branch which investigates into various offences under the purview of the National Parks Board, such as the Animals and Birds Act, Wildlife Act, Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act, Parks and Trees Act, etc.[What you will be working on]
You will be required to conduct investigations and enforcement on animal related issues, including but not limited to gather evidence, record statements, prepare investigation reports and recommend appropriate actions to take against offenders.
You will also be required to prepare necessary documents for court prosecution and give evidence in court trials.
[What we are looking for]
Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in investigation and enforcement work.
Familiarity with the administrative and enforcement procedures will be an advantage.
Independent and able to work effectively with others in a team environment.
Good understanding of animal welfare and health matters; as well as their impact on public health and safety or willingness to acquire such understanding.
Possess good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
Willing to work on weekends and after office hours
Competent in Microsoft Office Applications.
