Marathon Petroleum Company LP has an opportunity for a Senior Inventory Controller. This position will report to the Inventory Control Manager.
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for supporting material control processes, including maintaining proper stocking levels, performing robust inventory reviews, optimizing inventory, executing reports, plus providing and capturing value for the organization and Company. The objective of this position will be to develop and manage inventory control strategies that support organizational Run the Business goals. The qualified candidate will understand Marathon’s material management program and the functional and strategic roles of material control activities utilized by the department.
Candidates must be dynamic self-starters who work collaboratively, are results oriented, and driven by continuous improvement. This position may occasionally provide backup support to the Supply Chain Operations - Materials Management Master Data team, Warehouse Leaders, and other members of the Supply Chain Operations - Inventory Control team. Candidates must also possess the skills necessary to support material master records and have a foundation of warehouse operations.
