Role purpose

The Senior Internal Communications Manager leads the development and execution of a global internal communications strategy that aligns employees with the organisation’s purpose, strategy, culture, and transformation agenda.

The role ensures consistent, transparent and engaging communication across countries, supporting leadership visibility, employee engagement and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global internal communications strategy aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
  • Translate business strategy into a clear, compelling narrative for employees.
  • Support major transformation, change and integration programmes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Develop town halls, leadership roadshows and global employee events.
  • Prepare executive scripts, messaging frameworks, Q&A documents and toolkits for local markets.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across countries and teams.
  • Drive employee engagement through storytelling and dialogue
  • Manage and animate global internal communication channels such as intranet (Sharepoint), internal social networks (Viva Engage) and Newsflow.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication actions and engagement metrics.
  • Lead the broader Communications community (Central & Local) to ensure a good working relationship and alignment of key messages.

Profile Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or related field.

Experience

  • 8-12+ years of experience in internal and /or HR communications within a multinational organization.
  • Proven track record in change and transformation communications.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership at global level.
