The Role
To support the Internal Audit Senior leadership team in delivering the risk based internal audit plan.
Principal Accountabilities
Contribute to the development of the risk based Internal Audit plan.
Contribute to the delivery of the Internal Audit plan through timely completion of assigned audits, working with other members of the team.
Schedule, plan and complete risk-based internal audits contributing to all aspects of planning, fieldwork, stakeholder engagement and reporting ensuring adherence to Lloyd’s Internal Audit methodology.
Report and present findings to the business, making recommendations for solutions and improvements to policies / procedures
Co-ordination of internal audit activities with Lloyd’s risk management and compliance functions.
Liaison with external advisors & co-source partner engaged to provide specialist internal audit services.
Develop, and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Preparation of audit working paper documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Follow up to verify issues have been adequately addressed by management. Ensure the business complies with all relevant internal requirements, regulators and government legislation

Experience working within internal/external audit environment evidencing strong performance in conducting high quality audit work, findings and reports.
