Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Senior Interior Designer to join our PDS team. In this role, you will lead the design development and documentation of commercial interior projects—from concept through construction administration—while collaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. You will ensure that all design solutions align with client brand, functional needs, well-being strategies, and JLL’s commitment to sustainable, future-ready workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead interior design efforts for mid-to-large scale commercial workplace projects (e.g., corporate offices, tech HQs, multi-tenant fit-outs).

  • Develop space planning concepts, material palettes, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications, and finish schedules in alignment with client briefs and brand guidelines.

  • Produce high-quality design documentation including plans, elevations, details, and 3D visualizations using Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, or similar tools.

  • Coordinate with MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure integrated, buildable solutions.

  • Conduct site visits during construction to review progress, resolve RFIs, and ensure design intent is maintained.

  • Mentor junior designers and support design quality control across the PDS portfolio.

  • Stay current with industry trends in workplace strategy, WELL/LEED standards, and innovative interior systems.

  • Collaborate with procurement and cost consultants to align designs with budget constraints without compromising quality or vision.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably within a project delivery, A&D firm, or real estate services environment.

  • Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Enscape, Lumion, or similar rendering tools is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards (e.g., ADA), and sustainable design practices (LEED AP or WELL AP preferred).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

  • Professional registration or NCIDQ certification is highly desirable.
