ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Integration Consultant is responsible for delivering successful integrations of Global Payments’ products for enterprise merchants and ISV partners. This role ensures payment solutions are correctly scoped, implemented, tested, and certified to meet partner business requirements and technical standards. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the Consultant works closely with partners throughout the integration lifecycle, providing hands‑on support and troubleshooting. The role also serves as the internal technical voice of the partner, collaborating with product, onboarding, sales, and development teams to resolve issues, optimise integration outcomes, and contribute to continuous product and integration improvements.
SALARY
The salary range for this position ranges from 125,000 to 135,000 AUD + superannuation.
Lead end‑to‑end implementation and certification of ISV and enterprise merchant integrations, aligning complex technical and business requirements with Global Payments’ product capabilities.
Act as a subject matter expert on Global Payments APIs and integration strategies, advising partners on scalable, secure, and future‑ready solutions.
Serve as the technical liaison between partners and internal teams (product, onboarding, sales, development), advocating for partner needs and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.
Provide hands‑on implementation support, including troubleshooting, testing, technical validation, quality assurance, and certification to meet go‑to‑market requirements.
Execute integration plans in line with statements of work, process flows, and internal standards, ensuring all contractual, technical, and strategic requirements are met.
Drive continuous improvement through partner insights, contributing to product feedback, roadmap initiatives, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the integration team.
ABOUT YOU
5+ years’ experience in technical solution design or implementation roles within Payments, SaaS, or large‑scale B2B API environments, including delivery of API‑based solutions aligned to commercial and technical objectives.
Proven ability to lead technical solutioning discussions with ISV partners, enterprise clients, and internal stakeholders, effectively translating business requirements into scalable integration designs.
Strong technical knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication methods (OAuth2, Basic Auth), webhooks, error handling, and hands‑on experience using API testing and documentation tools such as Postman and Swagger.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both developers and executive‑level stakeholders and influence go‑to‑market outcomes.
Highly organised and proactive, with demonstrated success managing partner expectations, risks, escalations, and integration delivery in fast‑paced environments, including support of GTM strategies.
