In short, the Senior Instructional Designer develops and leads strategic, high-impact learning solutions that deliver quality, engaging content to employees through creative and audience-appropriate formats. This role drives measurable knowledge transfer across diverse learner populations, supports key business outcomes, and maximizes efficiency through thoughtful design. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor others and play an influential role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and career ownership across the organization.
In long, as the Senior Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Producing and leading thoughtful, end-to-end learning solutions that align strategic business needs with innovative instructional design techniques and effective assessment methods
- Designing and delivering highly engaging, outcomes-based training programs that blend instructor-led, experiential, and technology-enabled learning to ensure strong knowledge transfer
- Creating, building, and overseeing diverse content, courses, learning paths, and curricula for employees at all levels with varying learning needs
- Researching, staying current on, and applying best practices in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and emerging learning trends
- Integrating company branding, values, and culture consistently into learning content, messaging, format, and delivery
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with business stakeholders to identify, influence, and assess learning and development needs and trends
- Collaborating with partners on effective strategies for learning implementation, execution, and measurement
- Translating complex business challenges into scalable, actionable learning solutions that drive measurable organizational and site-specific outcomes
- Mentoring and guiding junior instructional designers and cross-functional partners to elevate design quality and overall team capability
- Leveraging prior leadership experience (such as project leadership, team leadership, or people management) to drive alignment, accountability, and successful delivery of learning initiatives
- Performing other related duties, as assigned

The Specifics.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–5+ years of professional experience as an Instructional Designer, with a strong emphasis on adult e-learning.
- 3+ years of proven experience using Articulate 360 (including Rise and Storyline).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience using Adobe Creative tools strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects or initiatives; prior team lead or leadership experience preferred.
Nice to Have.
- Experience leveraging learning management systems; Workday Learning experience is a plus
- Experience designing and delivering Management and Leadership Development programs
- Experience mentoring or coaching others in instructional design or learning best practices
- Experience with Canva and Vyound
