EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 7-10 years of IT infrastructure project management experience, including leadership of large-scale data center moves or infrastructure transformation programs.
PMP certification required; additional certifications (ITIL, SAFe, or equivalent) preferred.
Proven experience managing high-risk, high-visibility infrastructure programs with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of data center technologies, including compute, storage, networking, facilities, and hybrid/cloud environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex cutovers, migrations, and business continuity planning.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
Strong financial and budget management experience, including forecasting and variance management.
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated, and continuously changing environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive resolution.
Proven experience working within a PMO and adhering to governance and delivery standards.
Proficiency with project management and PPM tools; ServiceNow PPM experience strongly preferred.
Healthcare or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
Experience managing vendors and large system integrators is a plus.
The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Annual Rate: $109,000.00 - $183,000.00

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide senior-level project management leadership for large, highly complex data center and infrastructure initiatives, including moves, exits, consolidations, upgrades, and hybrid/cloud transitions.
Own end-to-end project delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, cutover, stabilization, and closeout.
Develop and maintain integrated, detailed project plans addressing infrastructure, application dependencies, vendor deliverables, risk, cutover sequencing, and rollback strategies.
Manage projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies, serving as Project Manager and adapting delivery approach as required.
Lead cross-functional coordination across infrastructure engineering (network, compute, storage), facilities, security, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Establish and execute cutover and migration plans, including risk assessments, contingency planning, and post-move validation.
Track and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively escalate risks and variances to leadership.
Utilize Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow PPM) for planning, tracking, reporting, and resource management.
Develop and execute stakeholder communication plans, ensuring timely, clear, and executive-level reporting of status, risks, and decisions.
Lead vendor management activities, including coordination with colocation providers, carriers, hardware vendors, integrators, and managed service providers.
Ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards, governance, and best practices; contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes.
Demonstrate strong judgment in resolving complex, ambiguous problems requiring evaluation of multiple technical and business factors.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing recommendations and driving decision-making for critical infrastructure initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
