Senior IAM Support Engineer, Identity Proofing

Position Summary


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to join our Identity Proofing Engineering Support team. This role is critical to ensuring secure, seamless, and compliant identity verification across enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for operational support, engineering enablement, and platform integration of ID proofing technologies, primarily leveraging ID Proofing tool (such as ID Dataweb, Jumio), Ping Identity, and SSO protocols like SAML and OIDC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot ID proofing flows integrated with Ping DaVinci and ID Proofing tools such as ID DataWeb.
  • Respond to Help Desk escalations involving identity verification failures, lost MFA devices, and onboarding issues.
  • Maintain “Lights ON” functionality for ID proofing services across Self-Service Portal (SSP) and IAM platforms
  • Ensure seamless orchestration between ID Proofing tool, PingFederate, and SSP for IAL2-compliant identity verification.
  • Validate biometric and document verification processes (e.g., driver’s license, passport) and PII checks against trusted sources.
  • Support integration with PingOne Protect, Ping Risk, and Splunk for behavioral risk analysis and audit logging
  • Support executive reporting for Critical Security Initiatives and FTC/NIST compliance


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in IAM or Security Engineering roles.
  • 2+ years of experience with Ping Identity suite (PingFederate, PingOne, DaVinci).
  • 1+ years of experience with identity proofing platforms (ID Data Web, Jumio etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience with SSO protocols including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Integration experience with PingOne DaVinci flows.
  • Familiarity with Customer Managed Keys (CMK) and secure data storage practices.
  • Experience with voice biometrics (e.g., Pindrop) and multi-factor authentication.
  • Ability to support compliance with NIST IAL3 and enterprise governance standards
  • Knowledge of biometric authentication, voice biometrics, and behavioral risk analysis.
  • Experience with tools like CyberArk, Azure AD, Kubernetes RBAC, and Splunk is a plus


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
