The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Project Manager. This role reports to the Manager, HR Projects and will support the continued growth and evolution of the HR Project Management Office. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of critical HR projects aligned with enterprise priorities. Working closely with stakeholders across HR and the organization, you will drive alignment, manage risks, and deliver high-quality outcomes. 

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of HR projects, including defining scope, objectives, success measures, and deliverables in partnership with leaders and key stakeholders;

  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, including timelines, dependencies, resourcing, and governance, ensuring alignment from initiation through to completion;

  • Drive accountability for project outcomes, proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and constraints to ensure successful delivery;

  • Establish and maintain clear, consistent project documentation and reporting (e.g., charters, status updates, decision logs, etc.) to support transparency and decision-making;

  • Engage and partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather requirements, align expectations, and translate business needs into actionable plans;

  • Act as a trusted advisor, using a consulting mindset to influence, guide, and support stakeholders in navigating complexity, resolving barriers, and sustaining momentum;

  • Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively, ensuring stakeholders are informed, aligned, and positioned to make timely decisions;

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across HR and the broader organization to enable collaboration and successful project outcomes;

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR project management practices, tools, and standards;

  • Partner closely with the HR Change Management team to embed effective change practices into project delivery, supporting adoption and minimizing disruption to the business.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field;

  • 6+ years of project management experience, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a corporate environment;   

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is considered an asset;

  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects end-to-end, from planning through to implementation and transition to operations;

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization;

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information for a wide range of audiences;

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies;

  • Understanding of HR practices, policies, and regulations.
