The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager to join Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Engineering in North Charleston, SC.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting 787 and Boeing South Carolina Engineering. As a strategic HR leader you will drive key HR initiatives to support site expansion and rate increases.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the 787/BSC Engineering HR team to deliver real time engagement and solutions with the business
  • Partner with key business leaders to execute strategic workforce planning needs aligned to site expansion and growth plans
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to align HR strategies with business priorities, driving employee engagement and organizational performance
  • Contribute to the development of a culture where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
  • Lead execution of key HR processes (e.g. staffing, performance support, employee engagement, talent management, leadership development, etc.)
  • Use HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies while promoting a culture of accountability and trust
  • Provide coaching and development to the HR team
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deploy solutions in areas such as workforce planning, talent management, training, total rewards and employee engagement

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing South Carolina.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 10+ years of experience in deploying and administering HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects
  • Experience analyzing data and metrics to identify future organization needs
  • Experience working in a business environment partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources
  • Human Resources certification(s)
  • Experience adapting to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements
  • Strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of business priorities and be able to translate them into action plans that drive business results
  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for cross-functional teams

Summary Pay Range: $182,750 - $247,250
