How You'll Make An Impact

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior HR Operations Analyst to join our HR Operations & Technology team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate HR data management, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and delivering high-quality service to our global workforce. You will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to maintain data integrity, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvements.

This is a hybrid role based in our Vancouver office, with in-office days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update high-quality HR data in Workday, performing accurate data entry, corrections, audits, and validations to ensure integrity across employee and organizational records.

  • Support onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and other employee lifecycle events with meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage and validate pre-hire activities, including background check coordination and new hire data verification, ensuring completeness, compliance, and alignment with HR policies prior to onboarding.

  • Partner with the HRIS team to support HR reporting and analytics, providing accurate data, insights, and analysis to leadership while ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Support HR Shared Services operations in a global organization, collaborating across regions and with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent processes and accurate data flow.

  • Leverage automation, AI, or creative solutions to streamline HR processes, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience.

  • Assist with testing, validation, and adoption of system updates, enhancements, and new HR tools.

The Experience You Bring 

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HRIS, with strong Workday or HR system expertise.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and internal movement.

  • Proficient in Workday and other HR systems, including data management, reporting, and system navigation.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis) or similar tools.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and present insights clearly.

  • Experience generating reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits 

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our Vancouver hub ranges from $88,000 - $MID CAD annually + applicable bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
