We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist with solid experience in Manufacturing and Operations to join our team in Murten, Switzerland, at our European Headquarters. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager HR of the site, you will play an important role in driving HR impact within the business and enhancing operational excellence across a diverse, multilingual organization. This position offers wide-ranging exposure to performance and talent management processes, operational HR matters, audits and compliance, as well as continuous improvement initiatives, all within a complex matrix environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers and team leaders to provide practical, business-focused HR guidance throughout the employee lifecycle, including conflict resolution, change initiatives, performance conversations, and talent development.

  • Contribute to reinforcing HR credibility, standards, and processes across the organization.

  • Lead and support key annual HR cycles such as objective setting, performance reviews, bonus and merit planning, as well as talent and succession management.

  • Play an active role in HR-related audit and compliance activities (e.g., TISAX, IATF, ISO), ensuring audit readiness, proper documentation, and robust process governance.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and drive HR operational excellence.

  • Manage recruitment processes independently or in collaboration with Talent Acquisition team and support onboarding activities.

  • Oversee core lifecycle HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to employment contract preparation, contract termination, work authorizations (e.g., Sunday work, night shifts), management of HRIS (Workday) data accuracy.

  • Take responsibility for selected operational areas such as canteen oversight.

  • Lead and contribute to selected HR projects (onboarding, recognition programs, digitalization, organizational changes, sustainability initiatives).

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager HR, local HR team, Talent Acquisition, Shared Service Center, and corporate HR functions to ensure alignment and consistency.

Our Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of solid experience as an HR Generalist

  • Language proficiency: Native German (or C2 level) with Fluent English and minimum B1 French

  • Strong expertise in Swiss employment law and compliance requirements.

  • Experience in business partnering and performance/talent processes.

  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end HR process, combined with an agile yet structured working approach.

  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with KPIs, metrics, and financial data.

  • Exposure to audit and compliance standards (TISAX, IATF, ISO) is considered as an asset.

  • Experience with HRIS systems, Workday knowledge a plus.
