The Impact You’ll Make

You will serve as a high-level partner to our leadership team, ensuring the GFS "Open Door" culture isn't just a policy, but a daily reality. Your expertise will span the entire employee lifecycle:

  • Leadership Catalyst: Educate and coach leaders through our Leadership Development initiatives. You won't just track training; you’ll facilitate the growth of our future leaders and high-potential talent.

  • Employee Advocacy & Relations: Act as a trusted advisor, navigating complex employee relations with empathy and fairness while promoting a high-performance culture. You will champion retention by conducting stay and exit interviews, identifying trends, and using that feedback to continuously improve the employee experience.

  • Total Rewards Stewardship: Be the local expert on compensation, benefits, and wellness initiatives, ensuring our team feels valued and supported in their professional and personal lives.

  • Operational Excellence: Use data-driven insights to influence business decisions and streamline absence management (FMLA/Workers Comp).

What You Bring to the Table

  • Expert Communication: You have a gift for communicating and the ability to translate complex HR policies into actionable advice.

  • Cultural Competence: You possess a deep understanding of employment laws and a passion for fostering an inclusive, compliant, and thriving workplace.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of HR experience, ideally within a large-scale distribution or corporate environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • A "people-first" mindset with the professional rigor to handle sensitive investigations and organizational changes

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required

  • Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
