The Impact You’ll Make

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will work as trusted partner to our leaders and support our employees locally by providing key HR operational and strategic support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the entire employee lifecycle in a true generalist & hands-on role, from talent development, performance management and employee relations to working on strategic initiatives and projects in region.

  • HR Advisory: Provide strong HR generalist advice on employment relations including some performance management processes, sensitive issues such as grievances and support in investigations and separations.

  • Partnership: Provide key partnership and coaching to the business that enables and empowers our leaders to proactively manage a variety of people issues.

  • Employment Relations: Conduct medium complexity workplace investigations as required and prepare comprehensive documentation and recommendations. Identify and address systemic performance issues through analysis and capability building, and where necessary develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans.

  • Employee Lifecycle: Support in the management the entire employee lifecycle, including the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding system, and termination. Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained, ensuring confidentiality and security of information through the HRIS.

  • HR Process: Support core HR processes including annual reviews, succession planning and development cycles

  • Process and coordinate the initiation changes in Workday relating to employee personnel records to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 – 5 years proven experience working in a HR Generalist or Advisory capacity

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent experience.

  • Exposure working within a manufacturing and blue-collar environment highly regarded.

  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to develop relationships and engage with key stakeholders and leaders in the business.

  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, Fair Work Act and NES compliance.
