Details of the role
Working pattern: This is a full-time, permanent position on Crick terms and conditions of employment.
About us
The Francis Crick Institute is Europe’s largest biomedical research institute under one roof. Our world-class scientists and staff collaborate on vital research to help prevent, diagnose and treat illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, infectious diseases and neurodegenerative conditions.
The Crick is a place for collaboration, innovation and exploration across many disciplines. A space where the brightest minds can pursue big and bold ideas and discover answers to crucial scientific questions. We support them in a dynamic environment which fosters excellence with state-of-the-art infrastructure, cutting-edge facilities, and a creative and curious culture. We’ve removed traditional boundaries of departments, divisions and disciplines and instead have an open approach that supports every researcher. This gives us the freedom to take risks and carry out high-quality, pioneering research. Creating a space for discovery without boundaries helps us to turn our science into benefits for human health and the economy.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our fast paced and supportive People Partnering team.
As a key member of the team, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing expert guidance on complex people matters while helping to shape a positive and high-performing workplace. You will lead on complex casework, independently manage high-impact HR initiatives, and play an important role in driving the continuous improvement of People processes and policies.
Working closely with HR Partners and fellow HR Advisors in the team, you will be delivering both strategic and operational HR support across a diverse portfolio of research labs and operational teams. You will also support the development of the wider team by mentoring more junior colleagues, contributing to strategic planning, and championing best practice across the organisation.
This is a high-visibility and influential role that requires strong confidence, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship-building. If you’re looking to build on your HR experience and make a meaningful impact, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career at the Crick.
