ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Health Representative – Vaccines is responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on marketing and sales strategies for the assigned vaccines portfolio, with a key focus on supporting the launch of a new maternal vaccine in Pakistan.
This role requires strong scientific knowledge, disease understanding, and consultative engagement capabilities, as maternal vaccination is a low‑awareness area in Pakistan. The incumbent will play an important role in building awareness, confidence, and advocacy for maternal immunization through high‑quality, compliant scientific interactions with healthcare professionals.
All activities must be conducted in full compliance with company policies, SOPs, Pfizer values, and global guidelines (including MAPP and FCPA), as appropriate.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Business, Launch & Scientific Execution
Responsible for achieving business and revenue objectives of the assigned vaccines portfolio by:
Delivering professional, high‑quality, and scientifically sound product discussions with targeted healthcare professionals in the assigned territory
Communicating disease burden, maternal immunization concepts, and vaccine science in a clear, evidence‑based, and compliant manner
Supporting the successful launch and uptake of a new maternal vaccine through focused pre‑launch and post‑launch execution
Positioning vaccination as part of a broader maternal and infant health conversation, beyond product promotion
Customer Engagement & Territory Management
Plan and conduct effective customer engagement activities with:
Obstetricians & Gynecologists
Pediatricians
Neonatologists
Relevant hospital‑based and institutional stakeholders
Develop and execute structured weekly and monthly call plans to optimize customer coverage and quality of engagement
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records and call activity reporting through Veeva CRM
Scientific Knowledge & Capability Building
Build and maintain strong knowledge of:
Vaccine science and immunology
Maternal and infant health pathways
Product profile and competitive landscape
Confidently address questions, concerns, and misconceptions related to maternal vaccination using approved scientific content
Insights & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Gather and share high‑quality market and field insights related to:
Customer perceptions and attitudes toward maternal vaccination
Institutional dynamics and decision‑making pathways
Adoption barriers and growth opportunities
Provide regular feedback to the Health Representative Manager, Country Brand Manager, and Commercial Field Coordinator to support strategy refinement

Ensure all promotional and engagement activities are aligned with:
Pfizer policies and SOPs
Ethical promotion standards
Local and global compliance requirements
Mobility & Flexibility
Willingness to travel frequently as per business needs
Willingness to relocate if required by business priorities
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
Minimum Graduate
Science Graduate or Pharm D preferred
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales
Prior experience in vaccines, hospital‑based products, or specialty care preferred
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sound understanding of Pharmacology, Pathology, and Physiology, with the ability to learn complex scientific concepts
Ability to conduct structured, confident, and impactful scientific presentations
Strong analytical, planning, and territory management skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
High learning agility and comfort working in new and low‑awareness therapeutic areas
