Senior Global Accounting Specialist

Summary

We are looking for an IFRS accountant ready to operate in a global role. As part of our Global Accounting team at ESET Headquarters, you will work on complex accounting topics and expand your professional expertise in a dynamic, global environment.

Job description

Your job and responsibilities on this position:

• Preparation of group financial statements according to IFRS

• Supervising accounting processes of the Groups' worldwide entities in terms of accuracy, coherence and efficiency

• Preparation and developing consistent Group accounting policies & procedures in accordance with IFRS with focus on IFRS 15

• Production of the analytical review of the financial statements

• Participation on monthly group financial reporting

• Advisory and support in financial questions & decisions from IFRS perspective

• Cooperation with the external Group auditors and Accounting consultants

• Supporting and advising of other finance departments of the Group on accounting related issues

• Participation in ad-hoc and global accounting related projects

Our requirements:

• University degree or diploma in Finance and Accounting

• An additional accounting certification, e.g. DipIFR, completed or studying towards ACCA, is required

• Fluency in English is a must (native or very good level of written and spoken English)

• At least 6 years of experience in IFRS accounting where experience with IFRS 15 is preferred

• Experience from international Audit/Tax environment is a plus

• Experience with global ERP, group consolidation & reporting systems

• Computer literate with excellent Excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles

• Strong analytical, numerical skills

• Strong sense of responsibility and organization of work

• Excellent time management

• Strong attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach

• Prepared to work some overtime hours during specific periods of the accounting cycle

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2900 EUR

* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
