About the Opportunity
We are seeking a driven Senior Geospatial Consultant to join our progressive Geospatial team.
You will be working with a range of data capture, analysis and visualisation technologies to support our organisation’s strategy and to address our clients’ challenges. With exposure to a growing range of market sectors; you will deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to internal and external clients.
Primary Locations
Warrington, Cardiff, London, Newcastle or Whitehaven.
Key responsibilities will include
Management and analysis of geospatial data
Creative delivery of digital outputs for use in reports and presentations
Collaboration with team members to expand our capabilities
Developing innovative solutions to address our clients’ challenges
Mentoring other members of the Geospatial team
Maintaining our high standards of accuracy and integrity
Staying up to date with latest geospatial/ GIS trends and technology within different industries
Here's what you'll need:
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science or a related field (2:1 minimum)
A strong background in the advanced use of GIS software, ideally ESRI product suite
Experience with geospatial software and task automation using FME and/or python
Strong and demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, using creativity with a focus on detail and scalability
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Driven and motivated to succeed, with a high level of personal accountability
