We are looking to hire a senior illustrator. In this role you will be responsible for producing visually compelling and highly polished final artwork across a variety of projects, whilst ensuring that your design elements align with our brands and creative visions. You will work closely with game designers, art directors, animators and software engineers to create impactful and original visuals that communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

As a senior illustrator, you should have a strong understanding of design principles, an eye for detail, and the ability to execute polished final art that elevates our projects – we are focused on making the best games, and we strive to have all aspects of our games reflect this ethos. Strong communication and collaboration skills are critical, as you will regularly work with others in our team and need to understand how to apply feedback and follow direction.

You may be required to work on existing brands, so the ability to match different art styles is very important. A strong understanding of anatomy, values, perspective, colour, lighting and composition will be necessary to succeed in this role. Taking ownership of your projects and using your initiative to demonstrate great ideas is highly valued, as is your ability to take a concept from ideation all the way through to final art

Key Skills

• Concepting; contribute to the development of visual ideas
• Final artwork; highly polished, detailed illustrations with vibrant colours
• Illustration expertise – proficient in traditional and digital illustration techniques, ability to match different art styles a plus.
• Design expertise, strong understanding of design principles to ensure final art is cohesive, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with the brand’s identity
• Strong eye for visually striking graphics; typography, colour theory, composition and visual storytelling
• Communication; ability to take feedback and apply it, be able to discuss design choices and understand our shared goals when developing our products
• Problem solving; address design and artistic challenges with innovative solutions
• Time management; adhere to project timelines and development schedules
• Knowledge of adobe creative suite; photoshop is a must. Illustrator, AfterEffects, blender skills are highly beneficial.
