What you’ll achieve:

As the Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will take a key role in the design and development of our next-generation Radiology Information System (RIS). Our product enables radiology departments across the globe to manage scheduling, imaging workflows, reporting, and integration with hospital systems effectively.

Your responsibilities:

  • Implement features and address defects based on requirements provided by the product team.

  • Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to ensure well-designed and accurate solutions.

  • Ensure quality and smooth delivery of code changes with industry best practices as pull requests-workflow and comprehensive continuous integration.

  • Develop automated tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and high-quality standards of the software.

  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in software engineering and the healthcare domain, contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Grow into being an expert in healthcare, hospital imaging and radiology workflows with proficiency in standards like FHIR and DICOM

Essential Requirements:

  • A university degree in computer science (or related degree) and/or equivalent work experience 

  • 3+ years of professional experience with backend frameworks in the Java ecosystem, such as Quarkus, Spring Boot or similar technologies.

  • Experience with reactive web frameworks for building Single Page Applications (SPAs), such as Angular, React or Vue.js.

  • Experience with microservice architecture, design patterns, cloud-native principles, and software engineering best practices.

  • Profound experience with persistence technologies, such as JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.

  • Comfortable using standard developer tooling, including Git, Java build systems, and the Linux command line

  • Hands-on experience in agile development teams

  • Good English skills, both written and spoken

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in writing automated tests (unit tests, integration tests …)

  • Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficiency in containerization with familiarity in Kubernetes and/or Docker for deployments.

  • German language knowledge

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 56.000 p.a. (IT collective agreement). Overpayment including a yearly variable payment agreement depending upon qualification/experience is a matter of course.
