Job Summary
Synechron is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer specialized in Node.js and React.js to join our innovative team. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices within the Transaction Banking space. Your expertise will enable seamless integration with core banking systems, payment hubs, and gateways, contributing directly to transformative financial technology solutions. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with business and technical teams, lead technical initiatives, and mentor colleagues — all aimed at delivering high-quality, secure, and high-performance applications that support the organization’s strategic goals.
Software Requirements
Required Skills:
Node.js (Version 14.x or higher)
React.js (Version 17.x or higher)
REST APIs and API design experience
Version control with Git
Containerization with Docker
CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar

Overall Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Architect, develop, deploy, and support microservices and front-end applications that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Lead technical initiatives, provide mentorship, and promote best practices across development teams.
Integrate solutions with core banking and payment systems, ensuring data consistency, transaction integrity, and operational reliability.
Work alongside DevOps and security teams to establish robust CI/CD pipelines, optimize system performance, and uphold security protocols.
Apply AI-enabled tools to enhance code quality, automate testing, and streamline development workflows.
Maintain documentation of technical solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Requirements
Between 8 and 15 years of professional software development experience.
Proven track record in full-stack development utilizing Node.js and React.js, especially in microservices environments.
Hands-on experience designing and deploying microservices-based systems at scale.
Domain knowledge in banking, financial services, corporate banking, or payments (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Core Banking, Payment Hubs, and Payment Gateways.
Familiarity with cloud deployment, DevOps practices, and security standards in financial environments.
Prior experience leading or mentoring development teams is advantageous.
Day-to-Day Activities
Meet with stakeholders and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Design and implement microservices and user interfaces using Node.js and React.js.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning activities.
Collaborate regularly with DevOps, Security, and QA teams for deployment and system validation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated processes using AI/automation tools.
Troubleshoot issues, monitor system health, and optimize performance continuously.
Document technical designs, processes, and best practice guidelines.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, microservices, or secure coding are preferred.
Ongoing participation in training or technical upskilling to stay current with industry trends.
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and project requirements.
