Senior Full Stack Developer (Builder.io / React) - Two Months Contract

Appnovation is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Full-Stack Developer with current, hands-on experience in modern React and visual headless CMS platforms, ideally Builder.io. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative, global projects and provide expert development skills within our agile, cross-functional teams. Two Months Contract

• You have current, production experience with React 18+ patterns including hooks, concurrent features, and modern state management — not legacy class-based approaches.
• You actively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate your workflow.
• You're comfortable integrating APIs and third-party services into full-stack solutions.
• You are experienced in Agile Development Methodology, working in short sprint cycles, and are capable of leading and mentoring other developers.

THE ESSENTIALS

A strong mix of the following skills will make you an excellent candidate:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, focused on web development.
• Current, hands-on React experience (React 18+) — you should be comfortable with functional components, hooks-first architecture, and recent React patterns. Experience with modern routing solutions (React Router, Next.js App Router, or Remix) is highly valued.
• Experience with Builder.io or similar visual headless CMS platforms. Builder.io experience is strongly preferred; candidates with only traditional CMS experience (Drupal, WordPress) will need to demonstrate adaptability to visual, component-based content systems.
• Component library development experience with Storybook and atomic design patterns.
• Proficient in integrating third-party RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with modern CSS approaches such as utility-first or zero-runtime CSS-in-JS frameworks (e.g., Panda CSS, Tailwind CSS), ideally Panda CSS.
• Experience with Git and workflows like Git Flow.
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools in your daily workflow.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Direct Builder.io production experience.
• Knowledge of multilingual website development and localization practices.
• Experience with Content as a Service (CaaS) platforms and headless CMS architecture.
• Familiarity with JAMstack architecture.
• Experience with search federation and integration tools like Algolia or similar.
• Understanding of personalization techniques and A/B testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in server-side scripting languages, preferably Node.js.
