We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to work on a project in the Sustainability / Environmental Services software industry.

You will be part of a distributed Central Engineering UI Team supporting a global organisation in the sustainability and logistics software space, focused on modernising the frontend ecosystem by migrating applications and shared libraries from Angular 13 to the latest version, while evolving UI architecture and deprecating legacy systems.
You will work within a small, highly experienced team to define strategy, upgrade shared UI packages, and enable multiple teams through tooling, documentation, and scalable solutions.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, comfortable making technical decisions, proactive in driving initiatives, experienced in working on large-scale frontend transformations, and with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
Migrate applications and shared libraries from Angular 13 to the latest Angular version.
Upgrade and maintain shared UI libraries used across multiple teams.
Design and evolve the frontend architecture, ensuring scalability and consistency.
Create and maintain documentation to support teams during migration.
Build supporting tools, including AI-driven solutions (agents, skills, plugins), to streamline migration processes.
Collaborate closely with the Central Engineering UI Team to define migration strategy and best practices.
Support and guide other teams through different stages of the migration.
7+ years of experience in frontend or web application development.
Extensive experience with Angular, including deep knowledge of Dependency Injection, standalone components, and modern reactivity patterns.
Strong experience leading or contributing to large-scale Angular migrations across major versions.
Solid understanding of Angular breaking changes (from Angular 13 to Angular 21).
Strong frontend architecture skills, including experience with monorepos, shared libraries, npm registries, and bundlers.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a senior, high-impact role.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
Experience building internal developer platforms or UI frameworks.
Exposure to AI-driven tooling or automation in the development lifecycle.
Experience in highly distributed systems or organisations with multiple frontend codebases.
Background working closely with architects or operating at a staff/principal level.
