The position of FP&A Analyst is within our Global Products Toxicology Finance Function. This role would suit a candidate wanting to accelerate their development in a role with a wide remit and access to senior stakeholders in the business.
The Opportunity
The role will support the Finance Director, Global Products Toxicology to consolidate, review and add insight to reporting from all markets, working closely with the wider Toxicology FP&A team. The role will also have a significant operations focus. Working closely with our operations and finance team as well as responsible for R&D financials – focusing on more insightful project performance and efficiency reporting. In addition this role will be responsible for development, production and monitoring of key business KPIS and margin initiatives. As well as taking a leading role in balance sheet and cashflow review and improvements. This is a unique opportunity well positioned for future development and growth within the Global Products Business.
What You'll Do
- Completion and consolidation of monthly financial reporting and analysis, including partnering with the regional finance leads to produce high quality variance analysis.
- Responsible for coordinating and submission of key month end deliverables to time, working closely with Tox HQ finance team.
- Preparation, review and analysis of requests for capital expenditures
- Pricing analysis
- Gross Margin/COGS Analysis
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations/Cash Flow Analysis
- Review and analysis of profitability
- Resource Allocation/Headcount Planning
- Supply Chain/Global Demand Analytics
- Finance responsibility for R&D, including key business partner to R&D leadership, completing and improving financial reporting and analysis, managing R&D spend to budget and forecast, improving project level ROI reporting.
- Supporting finance leaders as required with ad hoc projects
- Business partner to key Global Products Stakeholders and budget holders.
- Provision of support and finance data to the Global Products Commercial Director
- Consolidation, review and improvement of the daily, monthly and weekly revenue reporting to support commercial growth and inform accurate revenue projections.
- Responsibility for the forecasting and reporting of Margin improvement and Pricing projects, as well as influencing and supporting the regional finance teams as required.
- Development, production & monitoring of Operational KPIs to drive operational efficiency and cost saving
- Providing reliable financial information to support business change projects, and the opportunity to manage finance lead projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. In lieu of a degree, additional years of experience may be considered.
- 4+ years relevant professional experience required or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required competencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (CPA)
- Experience in large, multinational corporation
- Experience of Hyperion and SAP is an advantage
- Experience completing or reviewing financial consolidations

The base pay for this position is
$78,000.00 – $156,000.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
