Job Summary:
St. Elizabeth is hiring a Senior Special Events Coordinator for our Foundation department!Job Description:
Responsible for the successful outcome of system wide event projects including major donor events, fundraising events, stewardship events, community engagement events, and others as assigned. This includes the planning, implementation, solicitation of sponsorships, completion, data handling using Raiser's Edge, promotion and evaluation of Foundation events.
Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to support the development of collateral materials. Delegates and check daily assignments of indirect reports, volunteers or other associates on a project team. Prioritize and delegate tasks. Design/implement efficient services, offer revenue enhancements, monitor expenses, benchmark, encourage service excellence, meet financial/operational/ICARE goals/standards, and provide effective communication. Performance indicators for Foundation events may include but not be limited to net dollars raised by an event, number of event attendees, financial/operational/ICARE performance, and feedback from Marketing and Foundation associates regarding timeliness and effectiveness.
Responsible for successful outcome and management of third-party events. Develop and maintain professional relationships with external community partners and stakeholders to ensure success of third-party events that benefit the system. Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to support the development of collateral materials. Performance indicators for third-party events may include but not be limited to net dollars raised by an event, number of event attendees, and adherence to budget.
Manage Community Relations committee including maintaining relationship and collaboration with the committee chairs, agenda development, tracking reports, and appropriate data handling. Assist with additional committees as needed.
Performance indicators may include but not be limited to feedback from committee chairs and members, Foundation associates and timely reporting and scheduling.
Manage Junior Board Committee including maintaining relationship and collaboration with the committee chairs, steering committee agenda development, event development and assistance. Performance indicators may include but not be limited to feedback from committee chairs and members, and Foundation associates.
Assist with providing positive and supportive communication to Foundation Board, donors and employees. Performance indicators may include but not be limited to feedback from Foundation donors, associates and Foundation Executive Committee members and timeliness of communications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
