Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Flightline Readiness Quality Manager (Level L) to join the Field Quality Team in Seattle, Washington on 3rd shift.

In this strategic role you will set the vision for field quality, drive enterprise-level improvements, and ensure alignment with regulatory, customer, and Boeing quality standards across multiple teams. You’ll coach and inspire frontline managers and technical teams, lead cross-functional problem solving for complex quality issues, and champion data-driven initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of aerospace quality processes, and a passion for operational excellence, as they play a pivotal role in safeguarding Boeing’s reputation for world-class airplanes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers who perform Flightline Inspections to ensure products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, & company procedures and government regulations.

  • Develops and executes integrated business and departmental plans, policies and procedures and contributes to organizational and technical strategies, goals and objectives to improve quality performance.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes; and develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, partners, partners, suppliers and direct reports while managing, developing and motivating staff.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role leading inclusive teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

  • 5+ years' experience leading and influencing people in a Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing organization

  • Experience within Aircraft Flightline functions

  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process

  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner

  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures

  • Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving

  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building and Risk Mitigation

Shift: 

This role is primarily 3rd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary Pay Range: $154,700 - $209,300
