Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Your Impact

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. They provide financial insights to management and support decision-making processes through comprehensive financial data analysis.

What You'll Do

  • Financial Reporting Processes: Responsible for the preparation of financial statements, reports, and disclosures, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulatory standards. Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for external reporting processes, including EPS calculations, stock based compensation expense,Consolidated Balance Sheet, Consolidated Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, and Statement of Stockholders Equity. Engages with external and internal auditors to provide timely support and explanations for requests.
  • Equity Processes: Performs equity-related activities for the company within ETrade.
  • Month-end Close Processes: Assists in managing the month-end close processes and adherence to the close schedule. Supports the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and conducts income statement account analysis.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of SEC financial reporting experience, preferably with SaaS companies or 3-5 years
  • public accounting experience.
  • Experience assisting in the external reporting processes and/or external audits.
  • Experience with equity compensation.
  • Experience in systems such as NetSuite, Workiva, and/or E*Trade.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting and Filing (10-K’s, 10-Q’s 8-K’s, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying financial insights to
  • stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
