The Role

We're looking for a forward-thinking FP&A Analyst to bolster our growing Strategic Finance team. At Amperity, we operate with an AI-first mindset; you will work closely with your peers within FP&A and the broader finance organization to evolve our department into a center of automated, high-velocity insight.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will be instrumental in shaping Amperity's financial foundation. While you will support core functions—such as maintaining our 3-statement and driver-based models—you will do so by leveraging AI and automation tools to maximize forecast accuracy and minimize manual data manipulation.

Interesting Problems

  • You will work closely with the different departments at Amperity to monitor & communicate performance, coordinate company planning and empower leaders to make data-supported decisions
  • Be a strategic advisor to the business, conducting deep-dive analyses on key drivers and translating financial data into operational insights.
  • Integrate AI workflows into financial reporting and variance analysis to increase throughput, reduce human error, and accelerate the delivery of quarterly performance reviews
  • Deliver monthly analysis and reporting that goes beyond the numbers by providing context, trend analysis and forward-look recommendations.
  • Work on the preparation of monthly reporting materials, Board of Directors materials, executive management presentations and reports, and project-based analyses
  • Help build, develop and maintain financial systems to streamline processes and drive automation (examples include: Netsuite, Adaptive Planning, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Support finance leadership with special projects and ad hoc analyses including M&A, integration and pricing

About You

  • 5+years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or management consulting with demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders
  • Curious nature with the ability to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and uncover insights to drive business value
  • Strong modeling Experience distilling financial analyses for leadership teams
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond when needed
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems and propose options with trade-offs
  • Experience with FP&A tools (e.g.. Adaptive, Anaplan etc) as well as data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, etc)

Location

Seattle, WA 

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Compensation

Base Salary:  $100,000-$140,000. Individual compensation within this range will depend on several factors, including your skills, experience, education/training, geographic location and the level at which you join. We also consider internal equity, market conditions, and overall business needs.

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
