Brown & Brown is seeking Senior Financial Business Partner to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN! 

 

The Senior Financial Business Partner performs work across Brown & Brown operating divisions to provide value through the medium of data, information, observation, and recommendations, intended to support continuous process improvement.

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Collects and analyzes a variety of metrics for implications regarding budget, projects and program initiatives.
  • Effectively synthesizes and summarizes detailed financial data to create meaningful, high-level, results-oriented analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage a structured-autonomy model to accelerate new business development.
  • Initiate and complete business case proposals for customer retention improvement strategies for each operating division.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Corporate Departments, Retail Regional Presidents, and Executive Leadership.
  • Evaluate and quantify new and historical business data.
  • Execute controllership and reporting for select business segments.
  • Design and propose evidence-based turnover reporting and cost calculation
  • Ad Hoc business analysis. Look for new ways to analyze the business and drive
  • Other duties as assigned.

Licenses & Certifications:  

  • CPA and/or MBA or related advanced degree (preferred)
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) (preferred)

Skills & Experience to be Successful: 

  • 8-10 years in a similar position with senior financial responsibilities
  • Must have experience in delivering projects and initiatives that deliver measurable
  • Insurance industry experience (preferred)
  • financial results with a focus on driving organic growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • High degree of self-discipline and motivation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft suite; focus on Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Willing and able to travel

Pay Range

$90k - $90k Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
