Senior Financial Analyst

We’re looking for a highly analytical, systems-oriented, and detail-obsessed Sr. Startup Program Operations Manager to build and scale the operational backbone of the MongoDB for Startups Program.

This is a highly execution-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives on creating structure and organization in high-growth environments. You will own the systems, processes, and operational rigor that power the MongoDB for Startups program, from application evaluation to lifecycle communications and performance dashboards. You will ensure high-quality startups are identified, supported appropriately, and activated within MongoDB’s ecosystem.

This is a high-impact role within MongoDB’s startup efforts, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Finance, and Operations to ensure the program’s durability, credibility, precision, and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end operational management of the MongoDB for Startups application process, including review, qualification, tiering, and approvals
  • Evaluate applications to ensure alignment with program criteria, leveraging both internal and external data sources to validate applications 
  • Ensure approved startups receive appropriate credit allocations and program resources based on established tiering and program stipulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound startup program inquiries, managing requests with clarity and efficiency
  • Build and maintain reporting infrastructure to track applications, acceptances, activation rates, consumption, and program ROI
  • Support the broader startup marketing function through lead management, campaign uploads, lifecycle nurture development, and scalable engagement workflows
  • Partner cross-functionally to align the startup program with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and RevOps workflows
  • Continuously identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, implementing process improvements that elevate speed, quality, and transparency

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in program management and operations, startup ecosystem programs, revenue operations, growth operations, or a similar operational function
  • Experience communicating directly with customers, with the ability to triage high volumes of inbound inquiries, prioritize effectively, manage escalations, and respond with clarity and professionalism
  • Experience managing or operating structured, global, tiered programs at scale
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience building dashboards and deriving insights from data
  • Deep operational discipline with strong attention to detail and process documentation
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving startup ecosystem
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Passionate about supporting high-quality founders and building operational excellence behind a best-in-class startup program
