Howard University is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support the Assistant Vice President for Financial Systems & Planning. This role will be instrumental in managing and enhancing strategic financial models, including the Huron Consulting net tuition revenue model and the Alvarez & Marsal 5-Year Financial Plan. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial modeling, data analytics, and enterprise financial systems, with a strong preference for experience using Workday Financials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Lead the maintenance and enhancement of the Huron Consulting net tuition revenue model, ensuring accuracy and alignment with institutional goals.

·       Manage and update the Alvarez & Marsal 5-Year Financial Plan, incorporating strategic initiatives and forecasting assumptions.

·       Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

·       Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data inputs and validate assumptions.

·       Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and external stakeholders.

·       Support the implementation and optimization of Workday Financials, including reporting and data integration.

·       Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and planning.

·       Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale financial models and strategic planning tools.

·       Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau).

·       Experience with Workday Financials strongly preferred.

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compliance Salary Range Disclosure

Compensation Range: $103,500 - $115,000
