Position Overview
This position within the Corporate Controller’s Group is central in further developing and maintaining the general ledger for the entire Company during daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting activities. This position will be a dedicated resource responsible for Fixed Assets and Projects (CIP) transaction processing, reconciliations, and problem solving while following established internal financial controls and ensuring consistency of GL financial data by analyzing and interpreting transactions recorded to the GL. The individual will also assist in general ledger transformations creating a unified and streamlined financial systems architecture across the Company by maintaining and updating module configurations and standardizations.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for providing analytical and accounting skills for the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting activities and audits for the entire Company, including maintaining and overseeing the controls for accounts in areas such as fixed assets, projects, sponsorships, accruals and intercompany items.
Responsible for interpreting and analyzing financial information related to general ledger journal entries and transactions.
Manage accounting rules and business processes and provide real-time reporting and analysis to Management and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to proper internal controls and interface with key internal customers as part of daily responsibilities and project teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
A minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; experience in fixed assets or construction-in-progress and Workday GL system is a plus.
Advanced Excel skills required as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
Understanding of processes and accounting related to banking/financial services preferred.
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to work in a team environment, building and maintaining a network of contacts and coordinating with a large number of stakeholders

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $68,000.00 - $82,000.00 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
