Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate FP&A reports to the Director of Corporate FP&A and is primarily responsible for budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting activities in support of the embecta business. The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to provide the necessary financial, business, and analytical support to the business leadership and functional team members.
This role will sit hybrid in our Parsippany, NJ office
Service Delivery and Business Partnering
- Perform analysis of Worldwide financial results or projections and prepare presentations highlighting underlying drivers of performance, emerging trends, and risks or opportunities.
- Prepare month-end reporting packages of Worldwide results with variance analysis and operational metrics for Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Work closely with Tax, Treasury, and Corporate Accounting teams on forecasting needs specific to each function.
- Understand and develop framework of financial messaging for quarterly earnings releases & guidance setting · Engage with business unit and region finance leadership to enable insightful analysis and efficient processes to support strategic decision making.
- Display a broad understanding of financial markets with the ability to provide perspective on potential impacts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual foreign exchange fluctuations analysis and provide updates to CFO and management on an as-needed basis.
- Develop financial modeling analysis for key business objectives and strategic opportunities with an understanding of impacts to overall embecta financial forecasts (i.e., Pricing and GP analysis)
- Lead reporting initiatives and consistency across all of finance and provide direction for each budget, forecast, and month end close as needed.
- Maintain and issue leadership team executive monthly reporting packages.
- Facilitate monthly Flash revenue reporting process.
- Be an active and integral member of Corporate Function teams, which includes participating in projects and initiatives, attending regular team meetings, preparing financial models, providing advice and financial support and analysis for each function and establishing yourself as a business partner to the function members.
- Prepare and assist in the development of budgets, projections, and the Long-Range Plan process.
- Prepare and assist in the month-end closing process including, but not limited to, providing support to functional managers on running P&L s, consolidating information, preparing financial performance reports, booking journal entries, and reviewing account reconciliations.

Basic Requirements:
- BS in Finance, Accounting or technical field (or corresponding relevant work experience).
- Microsoft Office (including high proficiency in Excel and Power Point) required.
- Prior hands-on knowledge/use of SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud & Group Reporting.
Preferred Requirements:
- MBA and/or CPA a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Exemplary analytical skills and ability to think creatively about problem solving and opportunity creation.
- Focus on continuous process improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with strong attention to detail.
Competitive base salary based on experience and qualifications: $109,600 - $145,250 (subject to variation depending on physical location).
Posted salary ranges are provided in good faith. embecta reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, external market conditions, and internal equity considerations.
