The Opportunity
For our International Nutrition Division (ANI) we are currently looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Hoofddorp (the Netherlands) or Zagreb (Croatia) as a Senior Financial Analyst, Central Europe cluster.
This will be a maternity-cover position with a fixed-term contract for a minimum 18 months.
What You’ll do:
You will be responsible for all finance-related matters for 3-4 countries in our cluster (30% of cluster’s sales). These countries have lots of potential to grow in the future.
Your stakeholders are mainly sales and marketing teams in the countries, demand planning, cluster and regional leadership teams, and EMEA region’s and Abbott Nutrition Division’s finance teams.
Manage business finance reporting (Market, Sales, P&L, Balance sheet, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Inventory Days on Hand (DOH), and other profitability/performance measures) and provide insightful commentary on the results with gap closing strategy proposal.
Lead the forecasting and budgeting for the responsible countries according to division and region planning schedules.
Responsible for preparation of Business and Forecast review meetings (monthly basis)
Actively participate in decision making process for strategic / tactical decisions of the affiliates and regional management team to ensure responsible investment decisions.
Lead and support Business Case development for strategic initiatives (new product launches, new market / segment entries…).
Drive Margin & Profitability improvement projects.
Control business triangulations - Market size / Market share / In-market sales and In-market sales / To-market sales / DOH
Manage and maintain product pricing in SAP, including regular updates to price lists and ensuring data accuracy. Performing master data maintenance for customers and products
Work closely with Finance Manager to ensure that financial processes and disciplines are in place to sustain the countries’ goals as well as enhance the current processes.
Coordinate and assist in the continued development and improvement of the local planning systems for sales and expenses. Work with the affiliates and regional management team to design a reporting framework that is tailored to their needs.
Coordinate Central Europe S&OP process together with Demand Manager, Commercial Managers and Finance Manager
Ensure that all financial activity is completed in accordance with Abbott policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations.
Required qualifications and background:
University degree in economy or finance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Prior experience in comparable industry and in a matrix multinational organization is an advantage.
Proactivity and results orientation.
Great interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, teamwork and time management skills
Adaptable, systematic, initiative and punctuate.
Excellent MS Office skills (proficient in Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with SAP and HFM is an advantage.
Excellent English is a must (both written and spoken).
