Purpose
This role is responsible for providing assistance to the Reporting and Analysis Manager with the consolidation and preparation of all internal and external reporting obligations. This role has ownership for end-to-end processes for Segment accounts, detailed reconciliations and works collaboratively with both Australian and US teams.
Success in this role is ability to process a high volume of work with minimal supervision, having a can-do attitude, ability to problem solve complex issues and a focus on continuous process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Management/Financial Reporting & Financial Analysis
o Responsible for delivery of the month end close process including journal entries, financial reconciliations, preparation and review of management reporting deliverables including US SoX reporting requirements.
o Profit and Loss analysis including trend analysis and cost controlling
o Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with month end timetable
o Reconciling data to sub-ledgers
o Undertake financial analysis and variance reporting including challenging the business on results and ensuring accurate use of cost channeling principles
o Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
o Responsible for preparing payroll journals and analysing the timesheet costs to ensure accurate financial recording and regulatory compliance
o Liaising with internal stakeholders and key contacts in relation to project cost controls and commercial related matters.
· Compliance Reporting
o Assist with delivery of Annual financial close processes and the filing of audited Statutory accounts
o Ensuring the business complies with the US SOX compliance regulations and delivering technical advice to drive business outcomes.
o Support external and internal audit processes and other regulatory reporting requirements
· Maintain controls governing financial reporting processes for compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Apply a continuous improvement mindset to make recommendations/improvements based upon financial analysis and critical thinking.
· Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships to promote coordinated financial management practises across the organisation. Being a trusted adviser to the Programs, payroll and Transactional Team
· Provide assistance and support to other members of the business management team as required
· Provide assistance and support with ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
· Interface with the business and functional management, providing financial advice and administrative support and analysis to drive positive financial outcomes
