Position Summary:

The Senior Finance Specialist is business partner between the Finance Department and Operations Departments for our new US factory located in the state of Indiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing the financial aspects of the procurement process, accounts payable payments, travel & entertainment expenses, inventory, and financial analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure timely and accurate processing.

· Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, T&E, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

· Assist in managing the month-end close and financial reporting processes.

· Monitor month-end inventory count processes.

· Participate in the year-end financial statement audit through effectively responding to specific requests and inquiries from the external audit team.

· Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and other departments to ensure financial data integrity.

· Monitor financial integrity and compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations.

· Participate in other strategic finance, accounting, and business projects if needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

· College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. MBA or Certified Public Accountant (or progress toward) or similar certification preferred.

· 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong knowledge of US GAAP as well as risks and controls.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP system is an asset.

· Be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands-on approach.
