About the Role
We’re looking for a versatile and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Finance Data Analyst. In this role, you will act as a key enabler within the Finance Shared Services analytics team, supporting change and process re-engineering. You will provide data and analytics support for process owners, build automation solutions, and drive joint initiatives with IT and Automation specialist teams. You will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization and contribute directly to the modernization of processes that support all functions of the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct detailed analysis on opportunities to eliminate, simplify, and automate processes.
  • Recommend approaches or changes to streamline and integrate processes to improve efficiency.
  • Facilitate automation of analytical and operational tasks and processes at scale using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement with technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver process improvements for productivity savings and enhanced experience.
  • Take ownership of financial data and analytics processes to support advanced analytics and exploratory data analysis.
  • Manage data access, queries, and report design to visualize business performance.
  • Create user-friendly visualizations and dashboards that convey KPIs, benchmarks, and exceptions.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and financial modeling on complex, unique business problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, statistics, data analysis, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum three years of experience in business process engineering, finance transformation, management consulting, or financial data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience linking analytics to business strategy, financial performance, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel power user) and experience with databases such as SQL or SnowSQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with automation technologies and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, Smartsheet workflows, or RPAs.
  • Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S4/HANA.
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks, including financial modeling and data-driven analysis.


Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 to $104,900 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
