Ferring+You
As Senior Finance Controller, part of the Global Clinical Pharmaceutical Development (CPD) Controlling Team, you will design, maintain et develop the Controlling reporting landscape within the Group template to improve performance and decision-making. You will be in charge of the controlling of G&A and part of the Labs, and of all the CAPEX.
You will be working with our Controlling team and IT teams as well as relevant stakeholders to anticipate, identify and support business needs in terms of reporting, processes and performance management. You will be responsible for the delivery of standard reports for CPD and ensuring their availability to relevant partners to support business decision making.
In this role you will get involved and take ownership in important and impactful projects. It’s expected that you monitor and identify potential gaps, risks and opportunities related with the financial aspects of the company.
Your day at Ferring
In charge of the Reporting of the CPD Function, supporting the CPD Controlling team with functional and Consolidated reporting.
Within the CPD organisation, in charge of the Controlling of G&A and part of the Labs, and of all the CAPEX.
Improve and maintain finance and controlling dashboards and reporting covering the CPD Function. Leverage in-house SAP expertise and capabilities to enhance the quality, efficiency, and relevance of operational and functional reporting.
Consolidate data from sites & functions for the month-end / year-end close, yearly forecasts, budget and business plan exercises.
Prepare CPD consolidated management view with consolidated comments and analysis on FTE and Operating costs for management.
Perform the controlling and reporting of the CPD G&A Function
Perform the controlling and local support of Labs
Consolidate the CAPEX needs of all the CPD sites for Budget, Forecast and Actuals, and prepare CAPEX consolidated management view. Present CPD CAPEX to the relevant committee.
Contribute to the enhancement of the Group Budget submission tool and Reporting integrating CPD functional aspects.
Coordination of the budgeting, forecast and business plan process with all CPD Functions.
Provide support to other controlling functions related to the portfolio of development projects and Opex.
Contribute to ensuring that an efficient and controlled monthly and yearly closing process is in place in collaboration with the accounting team and functional controlling team.
Identify & implement synergies across functions/sites. Provide insights on asset & resource utilisation.
Challenge and improve ways of reporting current actuals analytical views.
Propose efficiency improvement measures.
Behind our innovation…There’s you
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Accounting or related field.
5 to 7 years relevant work experience in Controlling or FP&A, within a multinational environment. Relevant professional accounting qualification preferred.
Previous finance experience in biopharma, healthcare technology company or similarly regulated industry with science and medical activities strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial and data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong BI and Cube knowledge experience. Previous experience working with Power BI, Data cubes and familiar with SAP and/or Navision strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ownership mindset, characterized by autonomy, proactivity, a hands-on approach, and a strong focus on delivery and results.
Strong understanding of financial, controlling and accounting principles and processes controlling approaches and corporate policies.
Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient level of English (spoken and written)
Excellent presentation skills.
