Senior Finance Analyst – GC Market Finance Organization

Key Responsibility but not limited to
This role plays an important part in the Greater China Market Finance team, leading Hong Kong Financial Support covering both Personal Systems (PS) and Print (PR) + Managed Print Services (MPS) businesses, supporting Hong Kong MD, PS, PR Category Managers to drive HP’s profitable business growth.
He/she works with executives and is fully viable for career development.
- Drives planning & reporting activities in BU Finance, engaging with various stakeholders in both Greater China Market Finance and Hong Kong Category as well as the Managing Director
- Drives profitable business growth through insights from a variety of analytics based on internal and external data.
- Provides highly complex financial analysis, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving organizational objectives.
- Budgeting, Forecasting and variance analysis of financial results.
- Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls, planning, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plan and strategies.
- Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making to improve productivity and profitable growth.
- Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best and compliance method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities, policy development and engages in the design.
- Strong executive presence and representation of GC Market Finance team in Management forums and providing compliance oversight to Hong Kong business.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Requirements:
- Faster learner and has potential to move to next level.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and can work with executives.
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically, 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably in more than one finance function.
- Executive presentation skills and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and slides preparation and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen
- Team player with positive altitude
- Logical thinker with strong analytical, communications and presentation skills
- Good business acumen with passion for HP business and products
- Comfortable working with data, experienced in excel, PowerPoint and interested in new Finance skills, i.e. Power BI, big data etc.
