As a Senior Engineer on the Facilities Integrity Execution team, you will play a critical role in sponsoring and being responsible for high‑value integrity projects that protect and strengthen Enbridge’s Liquids Pipeline system across Canada and the U.S.

What You Will Do:
Sponsor and coordinate the planning and execution of the Facilities Integrity Piping initiatives to manage the leak risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and positively influence department performance metrics. This can include sponsoring projects for Mainline Capital Investment.
Regularly monitor project performance to established metrics and resolve issues timely. Prepare monthly reports showing progress updates and cost and schedule variances.
Develop and manage project initiatives focused on execution efficiency and continuous improvement, including implementation of takeaways from past projects.
Assist the Facilities Integrity Planning and Projects teams with preliminary scope development.
Work with project partners including Project Teams, Facilities Integrity Planning, Pipeline Integrity, Asset Class Manager and Regional Operations to develop business cases for capital projects which include the cost estimate, schedule, and value assessment. The value assessment considers factors such as the cost of the investment, amount of risk reduction achieved, and future maintenance spend reductions to ensure the highest value project is recommended.
Actively sponsor projects from scope initiation and execution, through to final in-service. This includes the compilation and analyses of project documentation, managing completion of related engineering assessments as required, as well as participation in gating process, commissioning, acceptance, and long-term operational review activities.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical and project management experience in a pipeline or related industry.
Effective project management skills.
Exposure to engineering, operating, technical, and/or other multi-functional experiences in the petro-chemical industry.
Functional understanding of pipeline facility construction and operations.
Integrity background is an asset but not required.
Valid passport is required to travel between Canada and the U.S.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Occasional travel (up to 10%) to conferences, field sites, and regional offices in North America.
